I think Nellie is close to 13 pounds now ................ I just can't say enough good things about her. She has settled down a bit and is such a lover. She will sit on our lap any time we give the the opportunity. She is just wonderful with kids and loves everyone and everything. My kids all want a little dog just like her and they thought they were 'big dog" people. She doesn't even chew things much but she did ruin my favorite pair of shoes this morning so I guess I'll never be able to completely trust her. She loves other dogs so much, I almost wish I had taken two puppies. Of course I don't wish it when she is pulling everything our of the laundry basket or dragging things off of every shelf she can reach or chewing up magic markers the grandkids left out........ |

| Our Rabbi - aka "Bulvie - Bear" Hey, Kathy! Wow, I'm so happy for your new sweet puppies! Oh, how I'd love to help you find some families for them so that Rabbi could have "family" here near him. He is still what I believe to be the most amazing creature ever made. Each day brings something new and interesting with him. His favorites are our morning walks before I go the work, fetching stuffed animals, and rawhide bones. He just seems so smart! His barking is still very minimal and he is more likely to vocalize some other "language" which is just fine with me. He has a major crush on a new neighbor...................she's a seven year old Bishon, "Mitzy". GOES CRAZY when he sees her---------I couldn't believe how high in the air he leaped the first time he saw her in the yard. Other dogs/cats/horses he just basically ignores. You just did such a GREAT job giving him what he needed in his first year. I feel so blessed to have found the perfect lil solution to my empty nest syndrome! I cannot imagine life without him now. Lucy!! Hi Kathy & Jan, I wanted to drop you both a little note to let you know how Sadie is doing. She did very well on our way home and slept most of the time. She is such a delight to have in our home and we wanted to thank you both for extending your family out to ours. There is so much to say, but so little time. She has stolen our hearts and has total control of everyone in the house. The kids have spoiled her rotten and she has every chew toy imaginable. She loves to crawl up on the couch in the evenings and just relax. Then on Sunday’s she loves to watch the football games with my husband; she runs back and forth on the chase trying to catch the men on TV. Then see starts barking when everyone is cheering. Thank you both again for all your help and we hope you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy and Healthy New Year. Regards, Lori |

After Bath Time Duncan and Darby - they each had a bath and brush! Cant get rid of the camera eye! They immediately jumped down and had a game of tag! SOunds like a herd of puppies! Terri .

Duncan and Darby Hi Kathy, Just wanted to update you with Darby - he is on the left. Eighteen Pounds, doesnt miss a thing and so smart ! If you are up to it he will play ball or fetch for hours. Really helped a arm tendon problem I had last year, it is all loose now. He was in for a check and the vet was so impressed with his size and muscle. Not a bit of fat. He is so loving and tenderhearted and easy going. Duncan, she barks at everything, when Darby barks (like a foghorn) I know to get up an look. But the best thing yet is when Duncan has a toy he wants and she is not about to give it up, he will walk over to the patio door - bark - zoom off=nosy Duncan goes barking wildly = and Darby trots over to the toy and lays on it! Now that is smart........................... ...............................................................Terri |

Minnie Mouse Hi Kathy, Minnie is doing great. She is an amazing little dog. ........................ Minnie and Essy are getting along a lot better by now. Minnie is really amazing with her. She keeps Essy on her toes that's for sure. The kids are thoroughly enjoying having a dog they can show off at school. Essy is pretty skittish but Minnie is helping her with that too. The trade-off is that Minnie has taken over Essy's bed, toys, treats, etc. She pretty much rules the roost now! ............................................... Talk with you soon. Karen |
